The history nationhood has been disputed and in the presence of multiplied identities, no one story-line blind the nation together. But even the occasional success in the cricket field have ensured a parallel, more joyous narrative one that offers a mirror to the aspirations of the common citizen. In India, Cricket offers a narrative of heroes, a story of diversity, and fairy-tale successes. The story of cricket the subcontinent is a story of imagined possibilities, of wistful imaginings of nation that might have been.
Beyond everything we have formed a board that is the richest among the cricketing nations and has a team that is doing well as of now.
